Muslims across Kenya celebrated Eid-ul-Adha on Friday, marking the 10th day of Dhul Hijjah, the final month of the Islamic lunar calendar.

Thousands gathered at various grounds and mosques nationwide to perform the non-obligatory Eid-ul-Adha prayers. This early prayer schedule allows sufficient time for the ritual animal sacrifice, known as Qurbani, which marks the central act of worship on Eid-ul-Adha.
