MOFA FC appoints Atulo Nicholas as new team manager ahead of promotion push

National Super League outfit Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA FC) has confirmed Atulo Nicholas' appointment as the club’s new Team Manager, reinforcing their backroom staff ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Atulo arrives with extensive experience in football administration, having previously served as Team Manager at Rainbow FC, where he played a pivotal role in securing the club’s promotion during a three-year tenure. He now joins MOFA’s technical and football operations department, bringing a strategic mindset and a strong track record of results to the "White Rhinos."
Academically, Atulo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Daystar University and is pursuing a Master’s in Project Management and Sociology at Houston Christian University—credentials that further solidify his dual capability in management and communication.
In announcing his appointment, MOFA praised Atulo for his "professionalism, meticulous nature, and strong grasp of team dynamics," highlighting these attributes as crucial to the club’s aspirations of earning a spot in the FKF Premier League.
His first official engagement came during a morning induction breakfast with the playing squad, part of a broader onboarding initiative aimed at aligning new and existing personnel with the club’s core values, vision, and mission.
On the field, head coach Charles Bruno has already initiated a demanding preseason training program. Bruno, who joined MOFA from Kisumu All Stars, emphasised discipline and unity as central pillars for success this season.
“We know what we want to achieve, but without discipline and teamwork, it won’t happen,” he told the players.
Bruno’s structured approach has extended to punctuality and off-pitch conduct as well.
During the squad briefing, MOFA’s Communication Director, Bonface Osano, outlined the club’s expectations regarding media and social media use, reminding players that professionalism is expected on and off the pitch.
