Education & Social Infrastructure

Public learning environments in Kiambiu have received targeted upgrades aimed at improving safety and learning outcomes.

Several significant initiatives are nearing completion, poised to address some of the urgent needs of our community. These include the new Kiambiu Community Centre and the 18th Street in Madiwa, Eastleigh South; the Gikomba Quarry Road Modern Market; the Shauri Moyo ‘A’ Affordable Housing project; Ahero Road; and the new Pumwani Hospital. New classrooms are coming up in Heshima and OLM Girls Primary Schools, as well as at Our Lady of Mercy Girls Secondary School in Pumwani-Shauri Moyo. We have also recently completed the Metal Training Centre and opened a new Jitumie Digital Centre at the KTVC in Airbase.Kamukunji is a vibrant centre of development.
